Can we access your project?
Current Behavior
My Free plan dashboard shows 4 active projects I can access and edit (limit is 2). These were created automatically by FlutterFlow when I created a single test project — the system triplicated it without any action from me.
Additionally, before this duplication event, all image assets disappeared from my original project. Images still appeared in the Media Assets sidebar but did not render in any widget or container. A new blank project (I created the test project specifically to isolate and investigate) also could not add images.
When I tried to log into my FF account from another browser (Edge) I've never used for FF, the problem remained.
The issue spontaneously resolved for image uploads without any action from me, but the 4 projects remain.
Expected Behavior
Free plan accounts should never have more than 2 projects
Asset mapping should not break when duplication bugs occur
Background images and image widget assets must upload without any issues.
Steps to Reproduce
Cannot reliably reproduce this — the duplication was automatic and sporadic. However, it occurred when:
I had one working project with image assets
Image assets suddenly disappeared from all pages
I created a new blank test project to isolate the issue
FlutterFlow automatically triplicated that blank project
What remains visible as proof: My dashboard currently shows 4 projects. I have not deleted them.
Control test: A new FlutterFlow account I created using a burner email on a different browser (Edge) works perfectly and doesn't allow to create more than 2 projects, confirming this is account-specific corruption.
Reproducible from Blank
Bug Report Code (Required)
No code was generated because the issue did not produce an error popup — images silently failed to render without any console errors.
Visual documentation
Environment
- FlutterFlow version: 3.38.5
- Platform: Web
- Browser name and version: Chrome, 148.0.7778.179 (Official Build) (64-bit)
- Operating system and version affected: Windows, 25H2
Additional Information
I initially reported this via email with the subject line 'Free plan violation - my dashboard shows 4 projects (limit is 2)' and received an auto-generated response directing me to delete the evidence of the bug by myself and upgrade to a paid plan if I want "guaranteed support". I'm not losing anything from the duplication bug though, you are, lol.
