Current Behavior
Hi FlutterFlow Support,
I’m experiencing an issue with Document Reference fields in the new FlutterFlow interface.
What’s happening:
I have a Firebase project fully connected to FlutterFlow.
I created a Firestore collection in Firebase called brands and added at least one document.
In FlutterFlow, when I try to add a Document Reference field in another collection (e.g., challenges) and click Select Collection, the brands collection does not appear in the dropdown.
I’ve refreshed the browser, ensured my Firebase connection is active, and added multiple documents to brands, but the collection still does not appear.
Workaround I’m using:
I temporarily created the Document Reference field using the users collection so I can continue building, but I cannot select brands directly.
Expected Behavior
The dropdown should display all connected Firebase collections with at least one document, so I can correctly reference them in my fields.
Could you advise on a fix or confirm if this is a known sync issue with the new interface?
Thank you,
Steps to Reproduce
Open FlutterFlow and go to a project connected to Firebase.
Ensure Firebase connection is active and Firestore is enabled.
In Firebase Console, create a collection called brands and add at least one document.
In FlutterFlow, go to Data → Data Types → Challenges collection → Add Field.
Select Field Type: Document Reference.
Click Select Collection in the Document Reference field.
Expected: The brands collection appears in the dropdown.
Actual: Only users appears; brands does not appear.
Reproducible from Blank
