For a few days I see this in my logs:

dnscrypt-proxy[3942]: [2026-05-20 20:48:41] [CRITICAL] [dns4eu-protective] Certificate hash [9078d21a56c0e0891d906221b6992331bdd17172eb0f33dda07d5c65c6e14c39] not found

Indeed, the hash differs from the one found in https://download.dnscrypt.info/resolvers-list/v2/public-resolvers.md

Should it be updated?

• The service provider had updated the certificate.
• The server stamp had just been updated.

If there is a delay, there will be mismatch.

If you choose very few servers and your source refresh_delay is too long, it will be more possible out of service for this situation. If there is still other servers available, the alert is not a big deal, and it will disappear when your local source file is updated.
