Hey you could probably start with bloclibrary.dev migration docs, but be careful with the concurrency stuff introduced in 8.0, that will probably break some functionality and have hard to catch bugs

• Is this issue resolved, like I can see a pr made Migrate bloc to v8  #37, but not merged.

This has been completed. The app now uses bloc ^8.1.0 and all blocs have been migrated to the new on() API pattern in PR #72.
