Hey there, the original gitflow received [commit aa93d23](https://github.com/nvie/gitflow/commit/aa93d2346f840e16a05c6546e1e22c1dddfbc997) that was never released, but which [is part](https://github.com/petervanderdoes/gitflow-avh/issues/305) of the popular fork gitflow-avh. It merges master back to develop after a release, so that develop is `git describe`able. I think nodegit-flow should align to that :)
